Sweco makes new acquisition

26 November 2019
Sweco Belgium acquires Pythagoras, an engineering company from Ninove with a strong reputation in site monitoring. Pythagoras specialises in site supervision and site coordination of infrastructure works.

"We are delighted to welcome Pythagoras' passionate site supervisors within our group. In this way, we are strengthening our capacity in terms of site monitoring and anticipating the growing demand for coordination, especially for large projects, in the coming years. Today and tomorrow, we want to offer our clients exactly the right expertise for their specific project," says Erwin Malcorps, Managing Director of Sweco Belgium.

Pythagoras bvba was founded in 1992 by the current owner Andy Sack. The company has 13 employees who operate on dozens of construction yards in Flanders.

"We immediately feel at home in Sweco's solid organisation. By joining forces, we will guarantee high quality, meticulous execution and control of the use of the prescribed materials and procedures. Together with our new colleagues, we will also contribute to the further development of quality and knowledge management", says Andy Sack, Managing Director of Pythagoras.
