Life cycle and sustainability
The financial outline of a construction project is not just limited to the investment cost.
Buildings consume energy, must be maintained, adapted, renovated and ultimately perhaps even demolished. All this forms the life cycle cost (LCC), a factor that we always bear in mind when we design.
Thanks to our attention for the LCC we are able to estimate and manage the total costs. This is why this LCC approach is especially advantageous in PPS projects, wherein the private partner is often responsible for the maintenance for several years. With the aid of specific tools we also offer our customers a long-term maintenance plan: an indispensable basis for professional maintenance management (Also read: BIM & Asset Information Management).
Our experts always design buildings and installations with significant attention to energy economy. And in existing buildings also, we study how energy savings can be realized to achieve the most efficient energy use together with reduced energy and environmental costs. In addition, as a recognised expert we also conduct energy and sustainability certifications.
