Concept and process engineering
We have the widest possible expertise available for our clients, either directly in our own local organization or through the Sweco network in other countries, or through our partnerships with companies like the PM Group.
This expertise is especially valuable in feasibility and concept engineering, where process engineers will design a concept according to client specification or requirement. The initial draft process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances and preliminary equipment data sheets are made and discussed in various options with the customer (‘optioneering’).
Safety and even constructability are given the necessary attention, starting in concept design.
Our senior process engineers will assist the client and their different stakeholders in conducting Hazop sessions, calculating process safety equipment and safety valves, leading to a safe operational environment.
