Construction sites are often seen as a nuisance, with the noise, dust, and debris they generate. However, did you know that <\/span>they<\/span> can also be an unexpected source of biodiversity<\/a>? And when these pre-loved resources transform into homes for small animals\u2026it\u2019s like a full circle moment. Cobblestones can be reused to make small walls, rock gardens, or even simple piles that provide shelter and protection for small animals such as insects, reptiles and amphibians.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, microhabitats can be easily incorporated into urban areas, providing a green oasis in the midst of concrete and asphalt. By creating these small-scaled eco-homes, we can encourage the return of biodiversity<\/a> to our cities and towns, promoting a healthier and more sustainable environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
