Green energy storage of 2,800 MWh<\/h2>\n
Green Turtle has an output of 700 megawatts, which translates into a storage capacity of as much as 2,800 megawatt hours. When coming online, this is likely to make it the largest battery park in continental Europe, potentially supplying up to 385,000 households with green power.<\/p>\n
Sweco was responsible for the project\u2019s permit application, which was successfully approved, thanks to our extensive experience with BESS projects over the past few years. Furthermore, Sweco supported EPC contractor Tesla with the engineering of the complete facility, a multidisciplinary challenge that Sweco was eager to tackle.<\/p>\n
