With \u2018Werken aan de Ring\u2019, we collectively pedal towards better bicycle infrastructure.<\/p>\n

We are building safe bike paths and comfortable bike bridges and tunnels, so you can cycle quickly and smoothly along and over the Ring.<\/p>\n

115 km of Bicycle Infrastructure in the Flemish Periphery<\/h2>\n

All these achievements are part of a clear ambition of the Flemish government. Within the \u2018Werken aan de Ring\u2019 program, coordinated by De Werkvennootschap, they aim to construct more than 115 km of new bicycle infrastructure along the Ring around Brussels, with an investment of no less than 300 million euros.<\/p>\n

Fast infrastructure, smooth crossings of the Ring around Brussels, and safe crossings over busy access roads are an important part of this. Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n
