Sweco Belgium welcomes All Soil Assistance and further strengthens its soil expertise
Sweco welcomes All Soil Assistance, or ASA, to the group, strengthening its expertise in environmental soil investigations and expanding its capacity for high-quality fieldwork. For Sweco, healthy soil is the foundation of every project and a crucial step towards a resilient society.
All Soil Assistance has more than 20 years’ experience in environmental sampling in Belgium. The company supports certified soil remediation experts with fieldwork for soil investigations and operates in line with the applicable procedures and quality requirements in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.
With this acquisition, Sweco brings specialised fieldwork capacity in-house for activities including manual and mechanical drilling, groundwater sampling, asbestos investigations in soil, sludge and sediment sampling, and field measurements as part of soil and groundwater investigations.
Soil quality, water quality and subsurface data are becoming increasingly important in spatial development, infrastructure projects, industrial sites and brownfields, nature development, and soil remediation processes. By combining ASA’s expertise with Sweco’s broad environmental, water and infrastructure knowledge, we can support our clients even more effectively – from investigation and analysis through to design, permitting and implementation.
Erwin Malcorps, Business Area President at Sweco bv
ASA has been known for many years for high-quality fieldwork carried out safely and professionally. Within Sweco, we have the opportunity to further develop our expertise and apply it within a broader project context. We look forward to working together to provide even stronger support to our clients.
Peter Luyckx, director at All Soil Assistance bvba

Complementary expertise
ASA has mobile teams that travel to projects across Belgium every day. The company combines manual fieldwork with mechanical drilling at hard-to-access locations, at greater drilling depths, and on sites with limited manoeuvring space.
Stronger support for clients
As a VCA*-certified company, ASA works with clear procedures, work instructions, calibration processes and competence management to safeguard the quality of sampling and fieldwork for soil investigations.
In addition, several employees have received specific training in asbestos recognition and sampling procedures, and are certified to carry out sampling in the context of earthworks and demolition follow-up.
Open collaboration model
As part of Sweco, ASA will continue to carry out sampling for third parties with complete independence. ASA will continue to apply its 20 years of experience and expertise for soil remediation specialists across Belgium.
The integration of ASA aligns with Sweco’s ambition to offer clients even more integrated support for complex soil, water and environmental challenges.
Reliable sampling and high-quality field observations form the basis for robust environmental analyses, sound permit applications, and well-founded remediation or development strategies.
This acquisition makes Sweco more agile and enables the company to invest in the future with even greater impact, supporting clients more efficiently in projects where soil, groundwater, sediment, buildings, infrastructure, permits, redevelopment and industrial activities come together.
