1. New study explores how nature-based solutions can be used by urban planners to combat heat stress from rising global temperatures

• How can cities like Islamabad and Lisbon adapt to growing heat stress?
• The study authors were members of the EU Horizon 2020 PROVIDE project which researched the climate impacts associated with temporarily overshooting 1.5°C.
