Strong foundation in development and automation
Jana started her career in 2011 as a developer and has since built broad expertise in software development and digital solutions. Throughout her career, her focus increasingly shifted towards analysing and optimising business processes.
In a previous role, she helped establish a team focused on automation, where she worked as a technical expert to map processes and translate them into efficient digital solutions.
From operational to strategic level
Alongside her technical expertise, Jana also developed herself on a strategic level. She was recognised as an SAP Mentor, an international recognition within her field, and in that role collaborated with senior stakeholders on digitalisation and process optimisation.
This experience enables her to approach digital solutions not only from a technical perspective, but also from a business value perspective.
For me, digitalisation is about improving processes and supporting better decision-making, not about technology itself.

Within Sweco, Jana leads the Digital Solutions team, which operates across the entire organisation. The team supports various expertises, from buildings and infrastructure to energy and industry. In her free time, she consciously seeks out nature, where she finds peace and renewed energy. “I enjoy spending time outdoors. Taking a step back helps me think clearly again and approach challenges with a fresh perspective.” Whether it is walking, exercising or simply enjoying the surroundings, these moments outdoors provide an important counterbalance to the dynamics of projects and deadlines. This connection with nature also aligns with her vision of digitalisation.
