I am delighted to welcome Technocon’s experts to our organisation. They bring a distinct area of expertise to our multidisciplinary organisation. Steel construction is an important factor in the buildability, prefabrication and assembly of structures. It enables our architects and engineers to design even more intelligently, offering our clients advantages in terms of both cost and programme.
Erwin Malcorps, Business Area President at Sweco bv
At Technocon, we design and build with a future-focused vision, taking account of how structures evolve over time. This aligns perfectly with Sweco’s full lifecycle perspective. We look forward to contributing to efficient structures for the diverse projects and environments designed by Sweco, guided by a sense of responsibility towards future generations.
Peter Van Nevel, founder of Technocon
Founded in 1994, Technocon designs steel, concrete and timber structures for buildings, industrial facilities and installations, public spaces, and civil engineering structures, for both new-build and refurbishment projects. Its 12 experienced employees work with a focus on the overall concept, an eye for detail and a results-driven approach. Alongside practical considerations, they take account of feasibility, economic factors and safety. Technocon also provides advice on the fire resistance of steel structures.
